Trad climbing introduction – Step into more adventurous terrains

Granada - SPAIN

Discover traditional climbing in a beginner friendly one day course made for sport climbers who are already comfortable leading. No multi pitch experience is needed, just the interest to explore the world of trad climbing.
You’ll learn how to place and evaluate the most common trad gear: Stoppers and cams. We’ll also cover building solid, comfortable multi piece anchors and the basics of moving efficiently while placing protection on lead.

All techniques are applied through supported lead practice, placing your own gear while staying backed up by fixed points. This lets you learn step by step, test placements safely, and build trust in a controlled, confidence boosting environment.

This course gives you an exciting and meaningful first step into trad climbing. For deeper training and full autonomy, the three day Trad Climbing Course is available.

Based in sunny winter climbing areas around Granada, with warm rock, great views, and guided learning at your own pace.
