If you are looking for an unforgettable outdoor adventure in Granada, the Via Ferrata La Colmena in Quéntar offers one of the most exciting and varied experiences in Andalusia. Located only 25 minutes from Granada, this compact route combines spectacular obstacles, beautiful scenery and just the right amount of challenge to create an adventure you'll remember long after you leave the mountains.
Unlike easier introductory via ferratas, La Colmena is designed for people looking for a more adventurous experience. The route begins with an impressive 50-metre Nepalese bridge, followed by steep vertical sections, exposed traverses and several fun aerial features. Along the way, you'll cross Tibetan bridges, a moving bridge and finish one of the highlights of the route with an optional 30-metre zip line, making this one of the most entertaining via ferratas around Granada.
Although previous climbing experience is not required, this route is best suited to active participants who are comfortable with heights and looking for something more exciting than a beginner's via ferrata.
Set above the beautiful Aguas Blancas reservoir, the route offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the peaceful Andalusian landscape.
The Via Ferrata La Colmena is the perfect choice for adventurous beginners and intermediate participants who want an action-packed experience close to Granada.
