From sport climbing to trad climbing, 3 days to build trad confidence
If you are looking for climbing in Granada, this advanced trad course is part of a wider range of guided outdoor climbing experiences on traditional routes.
Trad climbing course - 3 days to learn how to safely trad climb on your own
Granada or Alicante - SPAIN
Develop real independence in traditional climbing with this three day hands on course for sport climbers who already lead comfortably. Perfect for those ready to explore bigger adventure walls using natural protection, this program focuses on the core skills needed to climb simple trad multi pitch routes safely and confidently on your own.
You’ll learn how to place and trust essential trad gear (stoppers and cams), adapt to different rock features, evaluate placements, and build solid multi piece anchors for safe belays and comfortable transitions. We also cover double rope techniques, rappelling, rope management, and common problem solving plus simple rescue basics that help you feel prepared on real routes.
The course progression is fully adaptable and modular, shaped by each group’s level, pace, and goals. We move step by step at your rhythm, practicing techniques through real trad climbing, with supported falls on gear to build trust and confidence in a safe learning environment.
These three days based in sunny climbing areas around Granada or Alicante offer a much deeper and more varied training than a one day introduction. Additional advanced sessions are available on request for expert level trad development, but this core course gives you everything needed to take your first independent trad multi pitch adventures in safe, simple conditions.
