Multi-Pitch course – Learn to be a good leader in multi-pitch climbs

Granada - SPAIN

Take your climbing beyond single pitch and gain the confidence to climb your own multi pitch routes. This three day course is for climbers who already lead independently on sport routes and want to become autonomous on bigger walls. Multi pitch climbing is a vast world, so we focus on the essential foundations to help you feel safe, ready, and excited for your first self guided multi pitch experience.

You’ll learn core skills like rope management, belaying from the anchor, building secure and comfortable multi piece anchors, double rope techniques, abseiling, and simple common rescue maneuvers. The only requirement is leading 5c and being a safe lead belayer. No other prerequisites are needed.

The course takes place in Granada or nearby areas including El Chorro, with sunny winter conditions and rock warmed by the sun. The program is fully adaptable, moving step by step at your own pace to match each group’s experience and goals. With hands on learning and real route practice, you’ll leave ready for your first independent multi pitch climbs. If you want to take it to the next level, have a look at my Trad climbing introduction course.
